New Kensington Trackball

I waited and it was worth it! The Kensington Expert Mouse finally showed up at Fry's Electonics. My first encounter with this trackball was about 2 years ago when I saw it and the now defunct CompUSA store.

My computer experience was still mouse centric at that time, so I really didn't appreciate the elegance of this Trackball.

First of all, don't let the price scare you. Its worth the $100. I found the gigantic trackball perfectly sized for the 3 monitors I have on my workstation. The thing I love the most that you can't get on any other device is the ring around the ball. It acts like a mouse's middle wheel, except its a giant ring. When I say giant, I mean 3 inches. Compare that to Logitech's 1 1/2'' ball.

If you are a trackball fan as I am, the Kensington Expert Mouse is the way to go!

My name is Travis Merrick and I have a problem...

My problem is simple, I love 3 things in life. My wife and kids, Mountain Dew and anything that blinks, buzzes, whirls, tells time, pretends to think and requires batteries.
Writing about my wife and kids will poses a safety risk on the InterWeb [port 80], and who cares about Mountain Dew?
Mabey I should invest in Pepsi?
